Сегодня многие говорят о либерализме. Он означает свободное развитие общества. ЛДПР первая партия, которая даже в своём названии указала на приверженность либерализму - Либерально-Демократическая партия России. Произошло это в 1989 году. С мая 1991-го года как кандидат в президенты, Жириновский заявил о патриотизме как основе идеологии ЛДПР.
