Собрались к Нему фарисеи и некоторые из книжников, пришедшие из Иерусалима,
и, увидев некоторых из учеников Его, евших хлеб нечистыми, то есть неумытыми, руками, укоряли.
Ибо фарисеи и все Иудеи, держась предания старцев, не едят, не умыв тщательно рук;
и, придя с торга, не едят не омывшись. Есть и многое другое, чего они приняли держаться: наблюдать омовение чаш, кружек, котлов и скамей.
Потом спрашивают Его фарисеи и книжники: зачем ученики Твои не поступают по преданию старцев, но неумытыми руками едят хлеб?
Он сказал им в ответ: хорошо пророчествовал о вас, лицемерах, Исаия, как написано: люди сии чтут Меня устами, сердце же их далеко отстоит от Меня,
но тщетно чтут Меня, уча учениям, заповедям человеческим.
Ибо вы, оставив заповедь Божию, держитесь предания человеческого, омовения кружек и чаш, и делаете многое другое, сему подобное.
И сказал им: хорошо ли, что вы отменяете заповедь Божию, чтобы соблюсти свое предание?
Ибо Моисей сказал: почитай отца своего и мать свою; и: злословящий отца или мать смертью да умрет.
А вы говорите: кто скажет отцу или матери: корван, то есть дар Богу то, чем бы ты от меня пользовался,
тому вы уже попускаете ничего не делать для отца своего или матери своей,
устраняя слово Божие преданием вашим, которое вы установили; и делаете многое сему подобное.
И, призвав весь народ, говорил им: слушайте Меня все и разумейте:
ничто, входящее в человека извне, не может осквернить его; но что исходит из него, то оскверняет человека.
Если кто имеет уши слышать, да слышит!
И когда Он от народа вошел в дом, ученики Его спросили Его о притче.
Он сказал им: неужели и вы так непонятливы? Неужели не разумеете, что ничто, извне входящее в человека, не может осквернить его?
Потому что не в сердце его входит, а в чрево, и выходит вон, чем очищается всякая пища.
Далее сказал: исходящее из человека оскверняет человека.
Ибо извнутрь, из сердца человеческого, исходят злые помыслы, прелюбодеяния, любодеяния, убийства,
кражи, лихоимство, злоба, коварство, непотребство, завистливое око, богохульство, гордость, безумство, -
все это зло извнутрь исходит и оскверняет человека.
И, отправившись оттуда, пришел в пределы Тирские и Сидонские; и, войдя в дом, не хотел, чтобы кто узнал; но не мог утаиться.
Ибо услышала о Нем женщина, у которой дочь одержима была нечистым духом, и, придя, припала к ногам Его;
а женщина та была язычница, родом сирофиникиянка; и просила Его, чтобы изгнал беса из ее дочери.
Но Иисус сказал ей: дай прежде насытиться детям, ибо нехорошо взять хлеб у детей и бросить псам.
Она же сказала Ему в ответ: так, Господи; но и псы под столом едят крохи у детей.
И сказал ей: за это слово, пойди; бес вышел из твоей дочери.
И, придя в свой дом, она нашла, что бес вышел и дочь лежит на постели.
Выйдя из пределов Тирских и Сидонских, Иисус опять пошел к морю Галилейскому через пределы Десятиградия.
Привели к Нему глухого косноязычного и просили Его возложить на него руку.
Иисус, отведя его в сторону от народа, вложил персты Свои в уши ему и, плюнув, коснулся языка его;
и, воззрев на небо, вздохнул и сказал ему: еффафа, то есть: отверзись.
И тотчас отверзся у него слух и разрешились узы его языка, и стал говорить чисто.
И повелел им не сказывать никому. Но сколько Он ни запрещал им, они еще более разглашали.
И чрезвычайно дивились, и говорили: все хорошо делает, и глухих делает слышащими, и немых говорящими.
The Pharisees and some of the scribes who came from Jerusalem gathered to him,
And when they saw some of his disciples eating bread unclean, that is, unwashed, with their hands, they reproached.
For the Pharisees and all Judah, holding on to the traditions of the elders, do not eat, without washing their hands thoroughly;
And, having come with bargaining, do not eat without being washed. There are also many other things that they took to keep: to observe the washing of bowls, mugs, boilers and benches.
Then the Pharisees and scribes ask him: why do not your disciples follow the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?
He answered and said to them: He prophesied well of you hypocrites, Isaiah, as it is written: "These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me,
But they vainly respect Me, teaching the doctrines, the commandments of men.
For you, having forsaken the commandment of God, keep to the tradition of man, the washing of mugs and cups, and do many other things like this.
And he said to them, Is it good that you abolish the commandment of God to keep your tradition?
For Moses said, Honor your father and your mother; And: he that curseth father or mother with death let him die.
And you say: whoever says to his father or mother: Korvan, that is, a gift to God that you would use from me,
To that you already allow nothing to do for your father or your mother,
Eliminating the word of God by your tradition, which you have established; And do many things like that.
And calling all the people, he said to them, Hear me all, and understand:
Nothing entering a person from outside can defile him; But what comes from it, then defile a person.
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!
And when He entered the house from the people, His disciples asked Him about the parable.
He said to them: Are you also so incomprehensible? Do you not understand that nothing outside the person from outside can defile it?
Because it is not in his heart that enters, but into the womb, and goes out, what cleanses all food.
Then he said: the outgoing of man defiles a person.
For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
Theft, covetousness, malice, cunning, lasciviousness, envious eye, blasphemy, pride, madness, -
All this evil comes from within and defile a person.
And having departed from thence, he came to the borders of Tire and Sidon; And, entering the house, did not want anyone to know; But could not be hidden.
For a woman heard of him, whose daughter was possessed with an unclean spirit, and came and fell at his feet;
And the woman was a pagan, a Syrophoenician woman; And asked Him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
But Jesus said to her: first let your children be satisfied, for it is not good to take the children's bread and throw them to the dogs.
And she answered and said unto him, Thus, Lord; But the dogs under the table eat crumbs from children.
And he said to her: For this word, go; The demon left your daughter.
And when she came to her house, she found that the demon had gone out and the daughter was lying on the bed.
Coming from the limits of the Tire and Sidon, Jesus again went to the Sea of Galilee through the limits of Decapolis.
They brought a deaf tongue to him and asked Him to lay their hands on him.
Jesus, taking him away from the people, put his fingers in his ears and, spitting, touched his tongue;
And, looking up to heaven, sighed and said to him: Effafa, that is: open.
And immediately his ears opened, and the bands of his tongue were loosed, and he spoke cleanly.
And he commanded them not to tell anyone. But no matter how much he forbade them, they even more divulged.
And they were extremely amazed, and they said: everything is good, and makes the deaf hear, and the mute speak.
