В отчаянии голову склонил,
Людская ненависть сильна,
Им безразличны те слова:
Мир на Земле, любовь Христа!

Но нежный голос начал петь
«Господь не умер и не спит!
Все зло падет, Бог – победит!
Мир на Земле, любовь Моя!»

Я слышал звон колоколов,
Звучали песни Рождества,
Добро и радость в тех словах:
