1 Мудрая жена устроит дом свой, а глупая разрушит его своими руками.
2 Идущий прямым путем боится Господа; но чьи пути кривы, тот небрежет о Нем.
3 В устах глупого - бич гордости; уста же мудрых охраняют их.
4 Где нет волов, [там] ясли пусты; а много прибыли от силы волов.
5 Верный свидетель не лжет, а свидетель ложный наговорит много лжи.
6 Распутный ищет мудрости, и не находит; а для разумного знание легко.
7 Отойди от человека глупого, у которого ты не замечаешь разумных уст.
8 Мудрость разумного - знание пути своего, глупость же безрассудных - заблуждение.
9 Глупые смеются над грехом, а посреди праведных - благоволение.
10 Сердце знает горе души своей, и в радость его не вмешается чужой.
11 Дом беззаконных разорится, а жилище праведных процветет.
12 Есть пути, которые кажутся человеку прямыми; но конец их - путь к смерти.
13 И при смехе [иногда] болит сердце, и концом радости бывает печаль.
14 Человек с развращенным сердцем насытится от путей своих, и добрый - от своих.
15 Глупый верит всякому слову, благоразумный же внимателен к путям своим.
16 Мудрый боится и удаляется от зла, а глупый раздражителен и самонадеян.
17 Вспыльчивый может сделать глупость; но человек, умышленно делающий зло, ненавистен.
18 Невежды получают в удел себе глупость, а благоразумные увенчаются знанием.
19 Преклонятся злые пред добрыми и нечестивые - у ворот праведника.
20 Бедный ненавидим бывает даже близким своим, а у богатого много друзей.
21 Кто презирает ближнего своего, тот грешит; а кто милосерд к бедным, тот блажен.
22 Не заблуждаются ли умышляющие зло? но милость и верность у благомыслящих.
23 От всякого труда есть прибыль, а от пустословия только ущерб.
24 Венец мудрых - богатство их, а глупость невежд глупость [и] [есть].
25 Верный свидетель спасает души, а лживый наговорит много лжи.
26 В страхе пред Господом - надежда твердая, и сынам Своим Он прибежище.
27 Страх Господень - источник жизни, удаляющий от сетей смерти.
28 Во множестве народа - величие царя, а при малолюдстве народа беда государю.
29 У терпеливого человека много разума, а раздражительный выказывает глупость.
30 Кроткое сердце - жизнь для тела, а зависть - гниль для костей.
31 Кто теснит бедного, тот хулит Творца его; чтущий же Его благотворит нуждающемуся.
32 За зло свое нечестивый будет отвергнут, а праведный и при смерти своей имеет надежду.
33 Мудрость почиет в сердце разумного, и среди глупых дает знать о себе.
34 Праведность возвышает народ, а беззаконие - бесчестие народов.
35 Благоволение царя - к рабу разумному, а гнев его - против того, кто позорит его. 1 A wise wife will build her house, but a foolish woman will destroy it with her own hands.
2 He who walks in a direct way is afraid of the Lord; but whose ways are crooked, he neglects Him.
3 In the mouth of a fool is a scourge of pride; the lips of the wise guard them.
4 Where there are no oxen, [there] the manger is empty; and much came from the power of the oxen.
5 A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness speaks many lies.
6 Slutty seeks wisdom, and does not find; but for the rational, knowledge is easy.
7 Get away from the foolish man, from whom you do not notice intelligent lips.
8 The wisdom of the rational is knowledge of his way, but the stupidity of the foolish is a delusion.
9 Fools laugh at sin, but in the midst of the righteous - graciousness.
10 The heart knows the grief of its soul, and a stranger does not intervene in its joy.
11 The house of the wicked is ruined, and the home of the righteous flourishes.
12 There are ways that seem straight to a person; but their end is the path to death.
13 And with laughter [sometimes] the heart hurts, and sorrow is the end of joy.
14 A man with a corrupt heart will be filled from his ways, and a good man from his own.
15 The fool believes in every word, but the prudent is attentive to his ways.
16 The wise is afraid and moves away from evil, but the foolish is irritable and presumptuous.
17 Hot-tempered can do stupidity; but a person who deliberately does evil is hated.
18 The ignoramuses receive foolishness for their inheritance, and the prudent will be crowned with knowledge.
19 The wicked will bow before the good and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20 A poor man is even hated by his close ones, and a rich man has many friends.
21 Whoever despises his neighbor sins; but he who is merciful to the poor is blessed.
22 Do not those who deliberate evil err? but mercy and loyalty are among the benevolent.
23 From all labor there is profit, and from idle talk only damage.
24 The crown of the wise is their wealth, but the foolishness of the ignorant is foolish [and] [is].
25 A faithful witness saves souls, and a lying one utters many lies.
26 In fear of the Lord there is strong hope, and he will take refuge for his sons.
27 The fear of the Lord is the source of life, moving away from the nets of death.
28 In the multitude of people - the greatness of the king, and with the lack of population of the people, the emperor is in trouble.
29 A patient person has a lot of reason, but an irritable person shows stupidity.
30 A meek heart is life for the body, and envy is rot for bones.
31 He who presses the poor, blasphems his Creator; he who honors His benevolence to the needy.
32 For his evil, the wicked will be rejected, but the righteous, even at his death, have hope.
33 Wisdom rests in the heart of the rational, and among fools it makes itself known.
34 Righteousness exalts a people, and iniquity is a dishonor of nations.
35 The king's grace is for a rational slave, and his anger is against him who dishonors him.
