Halgrath - музыкальный dark ritual ambient монопроект, который создала музыкант из Санкт-Петербурга, представляющаяся как Agratha. Целью проекта автор заявлеяет "раскрытие разума и духовности человека. его потаённых сторон, самых тёмных сторон... а так же познание тёмных сторон вселенной, её болезненной правды и величия. человек по своей природе ничтожен, осознание этого ведёт к верной самоидентификации его как части структуры вселенной", говоря о себе: "Мне 23, образование музыкальное академическое, для себя я сама выбрала иной путь, путь познания и духовного роста, каким бы мучительным этот процесс ни был. вся та боль, которую мне пришлось пронести сквозь эту и предыдущие жизни может воплотиться лишь в одном чувственном порыве - музыке".
Как ни странно, проект Halgrath, первый релиз которого вышел 24 июля 2010 года на лейбле Ambientaria Records, более востребован за пределами России, и, как и другие не ищущие широкой известности отечественные авторы в жанре (например, Письма с изнанки), почти не известен в России (справедливости ради следует отметить, что, в отличие от указанной группы, Halgrath изначально позиционирован в расчете не столько на российскую аудиторию, что, в частности, касается англоязычного трек-листа и мифологии ряда композиций).
Можно рассматривать Halgrath как весьма удачный старт, не имеющий в отечественной, а, возможно, и в мировой ritual ambient сцене точных аналогов - эзотеричный, структурно мелодичный, эфирный и музыкально грамотный, местами "словно сквозь сон" напоминающий о творчестве Лайзы Джеррард, проект при поступательном развитии может расчитывать на серьезные перспективы и занять законное место на ритуальной музыкальной сцене.
