Yeah, you’re right, we might never die, but I would still like you to kiss me this very moment
Open your lips and smile
take a little instant to breathe in
We can’t stop and can’t run,
and won’t stand to reason
Awkwardly drowning our eyes
fervently locking our oceans
Butterflies from the stomach move to the tips of our lips

Somebody told me once
That if I choose to fight,
I will conquer this world one day.
It sounded somewhat cool,
But I could never
Care less about anything
I will just pour one more
For all of my friends and foes

In the middle of empty streets
Lonely winds inhabit abandoned cars
They turn on the lights to outshine the stars
And loud music to outcry the voices of their own.

Calm down, get warm, and remain serene,

Sometimes I think I’m a lion, the king of beasts, and I believe
I am so fast, I am so strong, my mane is gorge, my roar is awesome.
And as a lion one has to act all posh, and be elite, and set new trends.
Yet all I wanna do is give a bunch of hugs and run
Away. And fall into the grass. And laugh. Get drunk on dew, and see the sunrise full of light.
Sometimes I think I’m a lion, and that means I might never learn what is a friend,
since everyone around me hopes for me to slip or misstep.
Sometimes I think I’m a lion, the king of beasts, enchained by my own scarlet name.

Among the summertime Sundays
I’ve grown tired of shame and remorse
And took down my walls.
All the passers-by wondered
Why I would choose to demolish
My own stronghold.
Was I crazy
To strive for things
