Boi b'shalom ateres baalah gam b'simcha uv'tzahala, toch emunei am segulah, boi challah, boi challah, (shabbas malkesa).
Come in peace, crown of her husband. With happiness and with rejoicing. In the midst of the faithful of a chosen nation. Come, oh bride, come, oh bride. (The sabbath queen.)

It is often customary to sign one tune for the first five stanzas, and then to switch to a new melody (generally with a faster, more upbeat, tempo) at 'Lo Teivoshi.'
